Tornadoe(s) as a Dream Symbol[1]
Dear Dreamtime,
I dreamed I was in my house looking out of a window and the sky was dark. Then I
saw multiple tornadoes in the background of the sky. It terrified me. Can you tell
me what this dream means?
Dear Dreamer,
Thank you for submitting your dream for to me to interpret. As I begin, here’s some quick information about the Dreamtime Method. The Dream Method is not Freudian, Jungian or analytical. “you and your life” represents the “house” in your dream (which it does!), a window as a dream symbol would be your ability within your everyday living to be able to look outside of yourself and see beyond in your life. In your dream, you look out of the window (beyond yourself) and it is dark with multiple tornadoes swirling around.
Whenever it is “dark” in a dream, this is communicating from your DreamSelf that
you have little or no insight (light) about how you are creating whatever issue the dream is bringing up from your life. It was dark in your dream symbolizing that right now you having little or no insight or information regarding how you are creating the “tornadoes” that are swirling around in your life.
“Weather” as a dream symbol is always representing your current emotional
energy within. A “tornado’ as a dream symbol is communicating the powerful
and destructive emotions that are swirling within you and your life right now.
In the dream, you said you were terrified of the tornado, which is symbolizing you, in your everyday living, being afraid of your own powerful and destructive emotions that are now going on within your own life.

Dear Terri,
This dream interpretation (and explanation) is exactly what is going on within my life right now. I have found out that my husband has been cheating on me and has had a girlfriend for some time. I am devastated about this and extremely angry. Now that all of this is moving forward in my life, my emotions are going in circles of wanting my husband back at times and then not. From how you interpreted my dream, I realize I have not been aware (it being dark in the dream) of how I am continuing to upset myself by the angry thoughts I keep thinking.
I feel the dream interpretation of me looking out the window is me seeing me angry and out of control after how I have been betrayed. I have known for a long time
that all was not right in my marriage and am seeking help with dealing with what is going on. Thank you for your insightful interpretation, it confirms what I have been feeling and has given me much to think about.
